Specac Atmos – Heatable Long Pathlength Gas Cells

High-sensitivity, multi-pass gas cells with pathlengths up to 20 meters, designed for trace gas detection and environmental monitoring

Product Overview

The Specac Atmos series of gas cells utilizes a multi-pass optical configuration to achieve extremely long pathlengths within a compact volume. This interaction length is essential for the detection of trace-level contaminants and the identification of gases with low infrared cross-sections. Available in pathlengths ranging from 2.5 to 20 meters, the Atmos is a critical tool for emissions testing and industrial gas purity analysis. These cells feature nickel-plated aluminum or glass bodies and can be heated up to 200 °C to prevent the condensation of less volatile vapors. The all-reflective, gold-coated optics ensure maximum energy throughput, providing high signal-to-noise ratios even at the longest pathlengths. The Atmos series is designed for seamless integration with modern FTIR spectrometers, turning them into high-performance gas analyzers

Key Features

  • Trace-Level Detection: Pathlengths up to 20 meters for ppb-level sensitivity.
