As a sample is heated in the TGA furnace, the resulting evolved gases are transferred through a heated line into the FTIR gas cell. This provides a time-resolved chemical profile of decomposition products, solvent loss, and oxidation reactions, offering far more insight than TGA weight-loss data alone.This accessory features a low-volume, heated gas cell designed to maintain high resolution and prevent gas re-mixing.
