PIKE Short-Path Gas Cells – Routine Gas Analysis

Economical and reliable 50 mm and 100 mm gas cells for the qualitative and quantitative analysis of pure gases and high-concentration mixtures

Product Overview

PIKE Short-Path Gas Cells provide a simple and effective way to analyze the infrared spectra of gases and vapors. These cells are the industry standard for routine work, where high-sensitivity multi-pass cells are not required. Available in glass or stainless steel bodies, they are perfect for educational demonstrations, industrial gas purity checks, and identifying evolved gases from chemical reactions. The design features a clear optical path with demountable windows, making cleaning and maintenance straightforward. These cells are typically used for analyzing gases at concentrations from 0.1% to 100%. With the addition of simple stopcocks or valves, they can be easily filled and purged, providing a low-cost yet high-performance entry into gas-phase spectroscopy
