Product Overview
PIKE GS Long-Path Gas Cells are designed for the detection of gases at parts-per-million (ppm) and parts-per-billion (ppb) levels. Utilizing a "White Cell" optical configuration, the infrared beam is reflected multiple times between internal mirrors, effectively increasing the interaction pathlength without increasing the physical size of the cell. This is the definitive tool for environmental monitoring, purity testing of industrial gases, and the study of combustion engine emissions. These cells are available in fixed and variable pathlength versions, with options for gold-coated mirrors to maximize energy throughput. The cell bodies are constructed from high-quality materials (Pyrex or Stainless Steel) and can be heated to prevent the condensation of less volatile gas components. With a wide range of window options, these cells can be customized for any gas-phase infrared application
