Product Overview
PIKE Specular Reference Standards provide the "zero" or "100%" baseline required for accurate specular reflectance measurements. For absolute reflectance measurements, a high-quality, front-surface gold or aluminum mirror is used as a reference. PIKE provides these mirrors with certified reflectance values across the infrared spectrum to ensure that your data is quantitatively accurate. For specific applications, we also offer "black" standards or low-reflectivity surfaces to calibrate the bottom end of the photometric scale. These standards are essential for the characterization of optical coatings, mirrors, and semiconductor wafers. They are mounted in durable frames to protect the sensitive optical surfaces and ensure long-term repeatability
