Art Photonics Couplers for FTIR Spectrometers

Precision optical interfaces designed to link standard FTIR spectrometers with external fiber optic probes for remote sampling applications

Product Overview

Art Photonics FTIR Spectrometer Couplers are the essential bridge between your lab's infrared spectrometer and remote fiber optic sensors. These accessories fit into the standard sample compartment of nearly any commercial FTIR instrument and redirect the infrared beam into a fiber optic cable. This allows the user to perform measurements several meters away from the instrument, enabling the analysis of large objects or chemical reactions in fume hoods and reactors. The couplers use high-efficiency off-axis parabolic mirrors or specialized lenses to focus the broad IR beam into the small core of a PIR or CIR fiber. They are designed for maximum energy throughput, which is critical for maintaining high signal-to-noise ratios in the Mid-IR. With an adjustable XYZ stage, users can fine-tune the fiber position to achieve the absolute maximum throughput for their specific probe and fiber configuration
